Hi, Also adding my voice to this issue, I have two laptops both have the same problem downgrading from 1.7.1-1 (testing) to 1.6.2-2 (stable) fixes the problem. As Markus Huber stated if you're running KDE this will cause System Settings - Input Devices - Touchpad to segfault. Kitty
