You can thank Julien Cristau for making that happen. It's not a fix
for this bug but it was an expedient workaround.

Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
With last upgrade of my debian testing system subversion becomes a problem to
update my local working directories:
[1] romeyke@bdv215:~/svn/Langzeitarchivierung$ svn update
svn: E155036: Please see the 'svn upgrade'
Package: subversion
Version: 1.7.9-1+nmu4
Followup-For: Bug #722233
Dear Maintainer,
Further to the original report, the same issue exists when attempting to
checkout a repository:
gdarcy@greg-pc:~/svntemp$ rm -rf trunk svn co svn+ssh://remote/src/trunk
svn: E200029: Couldn't perform atomic
I confirm the problem!!
Bye

Dear Maintainer,
I can also confirm this bug.
Please add if necessary sqlite3 to the depedency list.
I guess breaking svn affects a lot of people.
Thank you for your work.
Regards,
Edi
