Bug#725854: ITA: mongodb -- object/document-oriented database (metapackage)

I've replayed my changes there. Please have a look and note if it's OK for me to do the upload. It builds fine in my pbuilder both for Sid and Wheezy. I think it would be good to do it together. At least I don't know how experienced are you with Debian packaging. For QA reasons, I'd like to know why changes are made, if any. For the time being, I've an updated package[1]. May you look into it if it builds on Wheezy? Any feedback is appreciated. Clement, do you have write access to collab-maint repositories ? Do someone from pkg-javascript-devel can tell me if mongodb belongs to that team ? For now it's just a matter of wether to add or not the team as Maintainer. Jérémy. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? I'm not that experienced in debian packaging (used to maintain tsclient, but that was some time ago, and it was abandoned upstream) and I find it better when the official packager keeps a look on backported packages. For the time being, I've an updated package[1]. May you look into it if it builds on Wheezy? Any feedback is appreciated. I just gave it a try on my build system. For it to build, I had to : - remove 0007-Use-TIME_UTC_-macro.patch wich prevents build with libboost =1.50. - remove the --use-system-v8 parameter : wheezy's libv8 is too old, the included one (3.12) must be used instead. It builds and install fine with these two changes. cheers, -- Clement Hermann (nodens) - L'air pur ? c'est pas en RL, ça ? c'est pas hors charte ? Would like to adopt it. Either alone or with Jérémy under the hood of Javascript Maintainers. Needs discussion. All right with me. You could set as Maintainer Debian Javascript Maintainers pkg-javascript-de...@lists.alioth.debian.org and yourself as Uploaders. Note that libv8 is maintained there too. That might help coordinating uploads if mongodb is to be linked to the shared lib. Jérémy.
