Package: latex-make Version: 2.1.18-4 Severity: normal It would be nice to integrate latex-make with texdoc, so that "texdoc latex-make" will just showup the package documentation, currently shipped as /usr/share/doc/texmf/latex/latex-make/latex-make.pdf.gz
Right now, texdoc says this instead: $ texdoc latex-make Sorry, no documentation found for latex-make. If you are unsure about the name, try searching CTAN's TeX catalogue at http://ctan.org/search.html#byDescription. OTOH README.Debian for latex-make says: TeX documention relative to latex-make can be found in /usr/share/doc/texmf/latex/latex-make You can also read it with texdoc(1). so it is not clear to me whether "texdoc latex-make" is *supposed* to work, and is not working due to some bug, or whether latex-make documentation is not registered with texdoc at all. Either way, many thanks for latex-make, I love it :-) Cheers. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.14-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages latex-make depends on: ii dpkg 1.17.10 ii ghostscript 9.05~dfsg-8.1 ii make 4.0-8 ii python 2.7.6-2 ii tex-common 5.02 ii transfig 1:3.2.5.e-3 Versions of packages latex-make recommends: ii inkscape 0.48.4-5 ii texlive-latex-extra 2014.20140528-2 ii texlive-latex-recommended 2014.20140528-3 latex-make suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- Stefano Zacchiroli . . . . . . . z...@upsilon.cc . . . . o . . . o . o Maître de conférences . . . . . http://upsilon.cc/zack . . . o . . . o o Former Debian Project Leader . . @zack on identi.ca . . o o o . . . o . « the first rule of tautology club is the first rule of tautology club »
