Hello.
1.4.1-1 and 1.4.1-2 have been building and installing cleanly since
you reported the bug, or at least failing for unrelated reasons.
Do you agree that the issue was probably caused by the python-openssl
transition, and that this bug may be closed now?

This is what I see everytime in the terminal at the moment of the freeze:

$ taskcoach
QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. 
Application may misbehave.

This happens for both double-clicking the task in the list, or right clicking 
the task
and then selecting edit. Every time.

Hello.
I am unable to reproduce the failure that you describe, with
the exact same package versions.  Are you in a position to try with a
reshly created user, or after removal of all configuration files?
(~/.cache/TaskCoach, ~/.config/TaskCoach and ~/.local/share//Task Coach)
