Bug#760311: menubar applet stil uses deprecated ~/.gtk-bookmarks
Hi, I'm pretty sure we didn't backport the commit [1] to 1.18. This change was meant for 1.20, and we also made similar changes in Caja and Pluma (in Pluma it's in filebrowser plugin). [1] https://github.com/mate-desktop/mate-panel/commit/e04356360b9277fa6001f57df712752b315d1be3

Control: close -1 Control: fixed -1 1.18.4-1 Hi, On Di 02 Sep 2014 21:17:51 CEST, Raphaël Halimi wrote: Package: mate-panel Version: 1.8.0+dfsg1-2 Severity: normal Tags: upstream Command "xdg-user-dirs-gtk-update" used to update the file ~/.gtk-bookmarks, which is now deprecated; since version 0.10 of xdg-user-dirs-gtk (present in sid), this command updates ~/.config/gtk-3.0/bookmarks, which should now be used by the menubar applet to populate the Places menu. This issue should have been solved by now. Marking it as fixed by 1.18.4-1 (first 1.18 version uploaded to Debian). However, it might have gotten fixed by the GTK2 -> GTK3 switch in Debian MATE. light+love, Mike -- DAS-NETZWERKTEAM mike gabriel, herweg 7, 24357 fleckeby mobile: +49 (1520) 1976 148 landline: +49 (4354) 8390 139 GnuPG Fingerprint: 9BFB AEE8 6C0A A5FF BF22 0782 9AF4 6B30 2577 1B31 mail: mike.gabr...@das-netzwerkteam.de, http://das-netzwerkteam.de pgp3Kuu800gF4.pgp Description: Digitale PGP-Signatur
