 Dear Maintainer,

 Recently I upgraded from Wheezy to Jessie only to find a very annoying bug.
 There is no sound on headphones, however the speakers still work fine. I
 googled for answered (purge pulseaudio, delete ~/etc/pulse, make sure
 alsamixer
 doesn't mute anything etc.) but nothing works. Please help me fix this soon
 because I really need headphones for my study. Thank you.

Hi,
if you're using PA try to modify
/usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/paths/analog-output-headphones.conf
to reflect as below and then restart PA, this should help.

[Element Speaker]
switch = any
volume = ignore

by default both options are set to off

You seem to be looking for a user support.

Did you try asking at:
[1] IRC at #debian-next channel at irc.oftc.net
[2] debian-user mail group
[3] Debian User Forums
[4] Ask Debian page

Please update this bug report (you can do that by sending an email to
760...@bugs.debian.org) if your problem was resolved or if no one was
able to help you there.

Regards,
T.
