Package: bash Followup-For: Bug #763164 I have upgraded to bash 4.3-11 and this problem is no longer reproducible.
I notice in the changlog that the initial Shellshock fixes have been replaced with upstream patches, which presumably work a bit differently. I believe this bug can be closed. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.13-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_IE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_IE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_IE.utf8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages bash depends on: ii base-files 7.5 ii dash 0.5.7-4 ii debianutils 4.4 ii libc6 2.19-11 ii libncurses5 5.9+20140913-1 ii libtinfo5 5.9+20140913-1 Versions of packages bash recommends: pn bash-completion <none> Versions of packages bash suggests: pn bash-doc <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
