Dear Maintainer,
there is an issue with fontspec and luainputenc, which doesn't exist in
wheezy. The following mwe reproduces the problem
\documentclass{standalone}
\usepackage[latin1]{luainputenc}
I concur that this bug is easy to circumvent, as I already posted the solution
in my initial bug report. But:
* upgrading from wheezy to jessie will break previously working documents
* working out it is the ordering of precisely these 2 packages that causes
the problem is not trivial for
