Hi Manfred!

I get the same error which Klaumi reported.

I installed Audacity today using Synaptic, then I recorded both sides of a turntable without problems.

First time that error occured after pressing ctrl-B, it always occurs when playing a .aup file, also those files which were created with my old Debian system (Lenny or Squeeze).

An empty dialog window opens which can't be closed and the app window doen't react by any click, while still playing the file.

Thank you for the information! But the bug can already be reproduced quite reliably by the example project that Klaumi submitted. And I believe that the problem is fixed by the patch "wxwidgets-clipboard-reentry-workaround.patch" that I posted earlier. Now it is important that someone actually tests the patch and the package maintainers include it in a new version of the package (if they find it suitable).

If you encounter this problem again in a future audacity package version including the patch (most likely version 2.0.6-2), we would very much appreciate it, if you reported it again. Thank you!

Cheers,
Martin
