Dear Maintainer,

after I've done an apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade yesterday, pidgin
had been removed from the system. Trying to reinstall it outputs the
following:

$ apt-get install pidgin
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 pidgin : Depends: libpurple0 (>= 2.8.0) but it is not going to be installed
          Recommends: gstreamer0.10-plugins-good but it is not going to be
installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Trying to install libpurple0 the output becomes:

libpurple0 : Depends: libfarstream-0.1-0 (>= 0.1.1) but it is not going to
be installed

and so on:

libfarstream-0.1-0 : Depends: gstreamer0.10-plugins-good (>= 0.10.29) but
it is not going to be installed
...
gstreamer0.10-plugins-good : Depends: libtag1c2a (>= 1.5) but it is not
going to be installed

Maybe this is correlated to the original bug report.

Best regards, Omar
