Oh darn, error 141 is just another instance of #790875 manifesting.
I had a workaround for stretch and sid and magically that worked for
mysql jessie-sid upgrades, but not for mariadb jessie-sid upgrades.
Looks clean from the piuparts side now (except for libmariadbd-dev
uninstallability).
