Something is very wrong here:

    $ git clone https://git.haskell.org/ghc.git
    Cloning into 'ghc'...
    GNU MP: Cannot allocate memory (size=3067512724234699008)

Tried this on two different amd64 debian machines which very similar
results (different size value though). This works correctly on debian
armhf and powerpc machines.
