That being said, it is still clearly extant, even in the version in sid. Bug#789899: evolution-ews: Office 365 account creation unsuccessful and hangs Evolution without evolution-mapi package
Package: evolution-ews Version: 3.12.9~git20141130.278fe7-1+b1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, I encountered a problem while creating an Office 365 account. I went to Edit-Preferences-Mail Accounts-Add and entered the following configurations: Server type: Exchange Web Services username: tvtuo...@ad.helsinki.fi host url: https://outlook.office365.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx - Fetch URL Everything seemed to work but the account did not appear on the list. I tried this several times and closed and reopended the Evolution also without success. After my attemts I found some Evolution back processes with ps -ef | grep evolution and killed those. After that I restarted Evolution and now the accounts that I had created and all of them started to fetch new mail but it did not seem to work and evolution would hang if I clicked any of the accounts on the list on the left. After restarting Evolution I was able to re-enter Edit-Preferences and I tried deleting the extra accounts. The account would disappear from the list but Evolution would hang again and after restart the account would still be on the list. I was able to resolve all the above issues by installing evolution-mapi package.
