Bug#792363: cloud.debian.org: http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/openstack/current/ is not helpful

2019-10-15 Thread Jonathan D. Proulx

I belive the following URLs are responsive to the need
for a consistant "latest" image location for scripts

Debian-10:
https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/cloud/OpenStack/current-10/debian-10-openstack-amd64.qcow2

Debian-9:
https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/cloud/OpenStack/current-9/debian-9-openstack-amd64.qcow2

Bug#792363: cloud.debian.org: http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/openstack/current/ is not helpful

2015-07-14 Thread Paweł Różański
Package: cloud.debian.org
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/openstack/current/ is probably named this way
to allow fixed, automatic retrival of image, but image path is
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/openstack/current/debian-8.1.0-openstack-
amd64.qcow2 so exact version is involved in the name. It prevents
automatic access to newest image file.

Could you for example symlink
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/openstack/current/debian-8.x.x-openstack-
amd64.qcow2 to a proper, newest file?

Kind regards,
Paweł
