Package: wxmaxima Version: 16.04.1-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
The keyboard shortcuts Alt+Up/Down does not work when using wxMaxima in Gnome 3. They are supposed to make it possible to edit previous commands (like cursor up/down does in bash/readline), but instead they simply act like plain Up/Down without Alt. Selecting the menu entry "Cell->Previous Command" works as expected. No Gnome function is bound to Alt+Up or Alt+Down. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.4.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages wxmaxima depends on: ii ibus-gtk3 1.5.11-1 ii imagemagick 8:6.8.9.9-7+b2 ii libc6 2.22-6 ii libgcc1 1:5.3.1-14 ii libstdc++6 5.3.1-14 ii libwxbase3.0-0v5 3.0.2+dfsg-1.3+b1 ii libwxgtk3.0-0v5 3.0.2+dfsg-1.3+b1 ii maxima 5.37.3-1 ii maxima-doc 5.37.3-1 Versions of packages wxmaxima recommends: ii fonts-jsmath 0.090709+0-3 ii texlive-latex-extra 2015.20160320-1 wxmaxima suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
