Are you sure about that? python-acoustid should use libchromaprint0 directly. And beets runs under python 2, not python 3, so it definitely doesn't use python3-acoustid. beets Suggests python-acoustid python-acoustid Depends libchromaprint0, python-audioread That should be enough to make it use the audioread + libchromaprint0 backend, rather than shelling out to fpcalc.
