Great, thanks!
I uploaded it (in its way to backports-new) :)

Not exactly a change in the package, but an upload (+ possibly
subsequent uploads) to jessie-backports
https://backports.debian.org/Contribute/

If you're not in the backports ACL because you don't care or never done
and don't plan to do backports anytime soon, I can do it, hence for that
case I just seek your approval.

Okay, thank you for stating that explicitly :-)

What would be needed then, if a change to this package is not the
resolution? How can I help get you what you need?

of diffoscope.

This bug for me it's a just a convenient way for me to ask whether you'd
like to do and maintain the backport, you can close it anytime,
downgrade the severity or whatever. Besides, it has to be closed
manually, you can't close it with the upload to backports (as I see some
people trying sometimes…).

This is unclear to me: of what do you do regular backports?

What is the bug in the ‘jquery-throttle-debounce’ source package? Did
you intend to report with “Severity: normal”, the default for new
reports?

How should this package change to resolve this bug report?

Bug#835102: jquery-throttle-debounce: please provide a backports in jessie-backports

2016-08-22 Thread Mattia Rizzolo
source: jquery-throttle-debounce

Dear maintainer,

diffoscope very recently (still in git) gained a build-dependency on
jquery-throttle-debounce.

Since I do regular backports of it, and I'd really like to avoid adding
a delta during backports, I wonder whether you'd be willing to provide a
backport of this package.

If you don't want to take care of it, I'm willing to maintain it myself
(always assuming you're ok with backporting this package).

Thanks in advance.
