Assuming that you don't want to package and maintain it yourself, I made this bug a RFP (Request for Package) instaed of an ITP (Itent to Package). I hope you find somebody interested in it. -- regards, Mattia Rizzolo GPG Key: 66AE 2B4A FCCF 3F52 DA18 4D18 4B04 3FCD B944 4540 .''`. more about me: https://mapreri.org : :' : Launchpad user: https://launchpad.net/~mapreri `. `'` Debian QA page: https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=mattia `- signature.asc Description: PGP signature
Bug#839930: Bring back libmesh
Package: libmesh Severity: wishlist * Package name: libmesh Version : 1.0.0 Upstream Author : Benjamin S. Kirk* URL : http://libmesh.github.io/ * License : LGPL Programming Lang: C++ Description : libMesh - A C++ Finite Element Library The libMesh library is a C++ framework for the numerical simulation of partial differential equations on serial and parallel platforms. Development began in March 2002 with the intent of providing a friendly interface to a number of high-quality software packages that are publicly available. Currently the library supports 1D, 2D, and 3D steady and transient finite element and finite volume simulations. PETSc is currently used for the solution of linear systems on both serial and parallel platforms. The library was removed earlier due to incompatibility with petsc. The newest version is fully compatible with dependent packages from the debian repo, and the community is also growing.
