Bug#843180: libcharon-extra-plugins: EAP-PEAP module not included
Just hit this bug very hard after our remote access was replaced from OpenVPN to IPSec-only access. All devices can connect except the Debian notebooks. Please bring back EAP-PEAP support into Debian - we don't want to switch to Ubuntu. -- Best regards / Mit freundlichen Grüßen Daniel Vogelbacher
Bug#843180: libcharon-extra-plugins: EAP-PEAP module not included
Dear Maintainer, I'm feeling really stupid, beeing the only one, unable to use certain vpn connections i really need. Everyone else can connect: Windows (naturally) Apple, Andoid, event iOS devices, but with my debian system I can't use them. Especially in university environments with quite diverse infrastructure and mixed client systems, MSCHAPv2 is widely used for vpn or wifi connections and other stuff. Even the ubuntu maintainer decided to reactivate eap-dynamic and eap-peap, since it is really neended by people. As I can see from #853266 and #843180, this request is out there for years and no one ever answered. Please include eap-peap again.
