The bug is still present in version 55.0.2883.75-1, it seems that the build
flags were not correctly passed to the compiler.

Dear maintainers,
same here, updating to 54.0.2840.101-1 makes chromium crash on the
website gmail.com, with "Aw snap" message; please find below the
message found when launching chromium from command line.
Reverting to testing version 53.0.2785.143-1 solves the issue.
I suspect the problem is
This version crashes on A LOT of websites, including facebook. Doesn't this
warrant setting a severity of "serious" or "critical"?

When opening e.g. [0], chromium crashes (Aw snap!).
When attempting to reproduce debugging info for this, I wanted to run chromium
in a clean profile. When running chromium for the first time without a profile,
it also crashed.
