OK, rebased and pushed.

I just noticed that the upload would also fix #821075 which I just
commited to Git. Please git pull.

Thanks for your work on this

Andreas.

I have an upload mostly ready, but still have a few HTTPS-related fixes
to take care of. I just haven't pushed anything yet in case I need to
rework any changes first.

Bug#846477: Status update (Was: ncbi-tools6: How to write a watch file with version encoded in _ftp_ directory)

I was able to solve this - new version is now in Git.

I was able to fix two compule issues in the new version but now I'm
stumbling upon:

...
ar x libncbiacc.a
ld -o libncbiacc.so -shared *.o
rm -f *.o __*
rm -f *.o __*
ar x libncbicdr.a
ld -o libncbicdr.so -shared *.o

Any help is really appreciated - even urgently appreciated since one of
our users intends to use prokka which just says:

...
[14:08:27] Looking for 'tbl2asn' - found /usr/bin/tbl2asn
[tbl2asn] This copy of tbl2asn is more than a year old. Please download the
current version.
[14:08:27] Determined tbl2asn version is 20.0
[14:08:27] Prokka needs tbl2asn 23.0 or higher. Please upgrade and try again.
...

While prokka is not (yet) officially packaged there might be other tools
out there requiring later versions of ncbi-tools6 as we can provide
currently.

Kind regards

   Andreas.
