Dear maintainer

Thank you very much for your work in Apper.

I use KDE Plasma but GNOME is also installed in my system.

I upgraded from Debian jessie to stretch some weeks ago. The upgrade automatically installed Plasma-discover and I've been using it since then (I thought that Plasma-discover had superseeded Apper when I saw "Discover" in my new stretch system).

Since some days ago, I noticed a different systray icon, similar to the one of discover, but yellow, announcing updates available. I just learned that this icon corresponds to Apper, which is still installed in my system. Is this because of the GNOME desktop? If yes, I guess in KDE Plasma the Apper icon should not be shown by default in the systray (given Plasma-discover is installed and used too).

When I click on the apper icon, it says:

Error loading the file QML: file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.packagekit.updater/contents/ui/main.qml:19:1: module "QtQuick" version 1.1 is not installed

(and Apper is not opened).

If I launch Apper from the menu, it works well. It's just the icon which is not working (well, hovering also works, it says "Software updater. It shows and updates software" in Spanish). Is there any dependency in transition and I just need to wait?

I like both Apper and Plasma-discover, and they look like similar to me (I mean, should I probably choose and keep only one? I don't know if I can safely uninstall apper or discover in my KDE Plasma system, or any of them is "tied" to the desktop).

Thanks!
