Package: needrestart-session
Version: 0.3-4.1
Severity: wishlist

I have a system with unattended-upgrades installed and enabled, with
minimal-steps enabled too. This means that unattended-upgrades runs apt
multiple times with small sets of packages and needrestart-session is
run by dbus on the first upgrade. The second and later upgrades run
needrestart but do not trigger the existing needrestart-session process
to update the list of processes. This means that when I return to my
session, the display of things needing a restart is inaccurate.
To fix this, I guess the needrestart-session need to listen on dbus and
trigger refreshes whenever it receives a notification from needrestart.
