Package: sbuild Version: 0.73.0-4 Severity: normal With "$apt_clean = 1;" in my ~/.sbuildrc, it appears that apt_clean runs before the build-dependencies are installed, and so /var/cache/apt/archive/*.deb files are not removed during the build.
It would be nice if it ran before the build started, but after any packages have been installed, to save disk space during the build, especially if running on a tmpfs where disk == ram. live well, vagrant -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (120, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: armhf, arm64 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages sbuild depends on: ii adduser 3.115 ii libsbuild-perl 0.73.0-4 pn perl:any <none> Versions of packages sbuild recommends: ii autopkgtest 4.3 ii debootstrap 1.0.89 ii schroot 1.6.10-3+b1 Versions of packages sbuild suggests: pn deborphan <none> ii kmod 23-2 ii wget 1.18-5 -- no debconf information
