We recommend mirrors not sync directly from service aliases such as
ftp.<CC>.debian.org (only http is guaranteed to be available at ftp.<CC>.d.o
sites).
In particular, ftp.us.debian.org is many different servers which makes syncing
from them a bad idea. Please pick one specific site (and maybe not one in the
US?)
