Package: sensord Version: 1:3.3.5-2 Followup-For: Bug #865042 Hi,
Removing the whole package because one particular use-case has some problems seems like a bit of an over-reaction, especially when that usage isn't even mentioned in the package description and the required dependency is only a suggests. Unfortunately I assume it's unlikely to be reintroduced into Stretch and we will have to wait for Buster. :-( Thanks, Roger -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.8 APT prefers oldstable-updates APT policy: (500, 'oldstable-updates'), (500, 'oldstable-proposed-updates'), (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages sensord depends on: ii libc6 2.19-18+deb8u10 ii librrd4 1.4.8-1.2 ii libsensors4 1:3.3.5-2 ii lm-sensors 1:3.3.5-2 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian13+nmu1 sensord recommends no packages.
