Package: gtk3-engines-xfce Version: 3.2.0-2 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? I've updated to Debian Stretch from Debian Jessie today. Upon launching some applications (e.g. Thunderbird), I noticed that they didn't properly obey the dark theme that I had installed. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? I tried a few things, including installing new themes, which didn't have any effect. After installing gtk3-engines-xfce, the theming worked correctly again. When I uninstall the package, the theming is no longer obeyed. * What outcome did you expect instead? I would have expected gtk3-engines-xfce to be installed when upgrading from Jessie to Stretch. If that's not possible, a warning during the release notes or something similar would have been nice. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.1 APT prefers stable-debug APT policy: (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gtk3-engines-xfce depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 2.22.0-1 ii libc6 2.24-11+deb9u1 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.14.8-1 ii libcairo2 1.14.8-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.36.5-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.3-2 ii libgtk-3-0 3.22.11-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.40.5-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.40.5-1 gtk3-engines-xfce recommends no packages. gtk3-engines-xfce suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
