Thanks for the feedback, I'm reassigning the bug to the correct package.
Seems you already opened a similar bug for it (#874024), so I have to
ask, is this the same message causing problems or are they different
messages?
In any case you can try to debug claws-mail with gdb to see where is it
crashing (with TNEF plugin loaded, of course), see detailed
instructions here: https://wiki.debian.org/HowToGetABacktrace
