That actually fixes a bug called 'ftbfs'. The package will build again.
Its not a workaround, this is the only solution.


Trying to re-enable it on 5.12.0-9 only results in

  checking for libsigrok < 0.4... no

and a subsequent configure failure.


There is not libsigrok < 0.4 in Debian. Not even 0.4 is supported.
