Hi, are there any plans to fix this in stable (stretch) too?
I disagree with the "Minor issue; requires a malicious IRC server" comment on https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2017-14727 (even upstream classified it as "high severity"), and it seems the patch is easy to backport (no conflicts, compiles just fine). cheers, Stefan
