Bug#877103: ITP: python-rebulk -- Define simple search patterns in bulk to perform advanced matching on any string
Hi Etienne, Rebulk (and guessit) is a dependency for a new package I'm working on getting into Debian, flexget, but unfortunately that currently is lagging behind in compatibility with these libraries. I need to have guessit at <= 2.0.4, and rebulk at 0.8.2 exactly. I'd really appreciate if I could get these versions of the libraries first so that I can finish the initial packaging of flexget before helping its upstream to support the latest versions of guessit and rebulk. Have you made any progress with this ITP or would you be happy for me to take it over (within DPMT)? I also started work on updating guessit, but I haven't pushed to git yet. Cheers, Carl
Bug#877103: ITP: python-rebulk -- Define simple search patterns in bulk to perform advanced matching on any string
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Etienne Millon* Package name: python-rebulk Version : 0.9.0 Upstream Author : RĂ©mi Alvergnat (https://github.com/Toilal) * URL : https://github.com/Toilal/rebulk/ * License : MIT Programming Lang: Python Description : Define simple search patterns in bulk to perform advanced matching on any string ReBulk is a python library that performs advanced searches in strings that would be hard to implement using re module or String methods only. It includes some features like Patterns, Match, Rule that allows developers to build a custom and complex string matcher using a readable and extendable API. This library is a dependency for new versions of python-guessit, already in Debian and maintained by myself in the DPMT. I intend to maintain it there as well, and comaintainers are more than welcome. Thanks -- Etienne Millon
