I see this bug in Thunar under XFCE with all 4.14 kernels I tried, including the latest linux-image-4.14.0-2-amd64 4.14.7-1 on unstable. I reported it as #883425 (thanks Torbjörn for leading me here): https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=883425 Booting with 4.13 fixes the behaviour
