Bug#885874: ITP: node-raphael -- JavaScript library to work with vector graphics

2018-04-11 Thread Jean-Michel Vourgère
Hi praveen

You added the "blocks", so I guess you know that package is already in the
archive:

https://packages.qa.debian.org/raphael

Shouldn't we close that bug?

For you information, raphael has just been orphaned.

Description : JavaScript library to work with vector graphics

Raphael is a small JavaScript library that should simplify your work with
vector graphics on the web. If you want to create your own specific
chart or
imagecrop and rotate widget, for example, you can achieve it simply and
 easily with this library.
 .
Raphael uses the SVG W3C Recommendation and VML as a base for creating
graphics. This means every graphical object you create is also a DOM
object,
so you can attach JavaScript event handlers or modify them later. Raphael’s
goal is to provide an adapter that will make drawing vector art compatible
 cross-browser and easy.

This is a dependency of gitlab 9.5. There is already libjs-raphael, but
which is shipping a browserified file directly. ruby-raphael-rails also
embeds it. This package can provide libjs-raphael built from source
using webpack in debian and can replace the embedded copy of raphael in
ruby-raphael-rails.
