I basically just do a source obnly build, that is then uploaded to a buildd. So my .gbp.conf contains this: [DEFAULT] # the default build command: builder = debuild --no-lintian -d -sa -us -uc -S The GBP_CHANGES_FILE still claims, that the generated .changes file is that of a binary build. Therefor it is impossible to use this variable for e.g. postbuild.
