No, I think it is too late for bullseye, and I wouldn't have the time to
work on it anyway, sorry.

Though I generally agree that it would be nicer to have Multi-Arch: same
for boost -dev package.

Bug#889822: Can the bug for the Bullseye release still be fixed?

2021-03-19 Thread Matthias Klein
Dear Maintainer,

the problem is still present in the current version:

$apt install libboost-log-dev libboost-log-dev:armhf
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 libboost-log-dev : Conflicts: libboost-log-dev:armhf but 1.74.0.3 is to be
installed
libboost-log-dev:armhf : Depends: libboost-log1.74-dev:armhf but it is not
installable
Conflicts: libboost-log-dev but 1.74.0.3 is to be
installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Is there any chance / possibility to fix the problem? Maybe even still for
bullseye?

Best regards,
Matthias
