I've tried to generate a playlist with relative filenames, and it seems to
work just fine here. Could you maybe try to run parole through strace and see
the file accesses?

Hi,

just to confirm: you don't have any /usr5 repository on your system, do you?

Bug#893254: parole: resolved directories incorrectly in playlist (.m3u) files

2018-03-17 Thread jack
Package: parole
Version: 1.0.0-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

==
In a playlist as below, located in directory /usr3/ME/mp3/xmms, with mp3
files located in /usr3/ME/mp3//*.mp3, parole incorrectly resolves
../electric_light_orchestra  = /usr5/ME/mp3/electric_light_orchestra
(instead of /usr3), so no mp3 files are found and parole becomes
unusable.

xmms => parole
