I started a download in a directory on a mounted USB drive. I stopped the download switched to another USB drive and mounted it without paying attention to the umask, I mounted it under the same name. I clicked on the download link again but was surprised that the FileChooser did not show up (it's a zip file and I chose "Save", just like the first time). Today I decided to try with Chromium and it showed to me that I have not the rights necessary to write on the USB drive. I think that Firefox should work as Chromium and display somewhere that the user lacks the required rights (though I don't know how/where to show this message :D).
