Package: src:linux Version: 4.5.1-1 Severity: important In linux-tools version 4.0.2-1 I changed the perfexecdir variable for the upstream perf Makefile from share/perf_$(VERSION)-core to lib/perf_$(VERSION)-core because perf started installing some binaries there.
This also changed the installation directory for Perl and Python scripts and modules used in conjunction with perf. Unfortunately I forgot to update the invocations of dh_perl and dh_python at that time. In practice this may not matter much; perf embeds the respective interrpeter libraries and dpkg-shlibdeps generates dependencies based on that.
