How come it works perfectly for me then?

Not what I experienced. Did you make sure to have mysql client installed
before starting to install?

*IF* you have a mysql client install, yes. Otherwise, dbconfig-common
will not ask for that.

I just tried, and it worked perfectly for me with Glance too...

When installing glance with debconf and selected option to configure db
with dbconfig ( debconf  is of course configured to show lowest priority
questions and interactive dialog ), question with database backend
selection is not appearing.

So , there is no option to select mysql or different sql backend. Package
is installing sqlite without asking.

Expected result is that debconf should ask for database backend , database
administrative account, password, an app username and password like it is
in other projects ( for example keystone is working good )
