Bug#910635: even with guake 3.4.0 the issue is not resolved.

Hi all, I was half-expecting the issue to be resolved with the new version. It sadly doesn't . It's possible that ayatana maintainers may be able to do something or maybe the maintainer can do something along with them. I am open to testing, testing patches to see if this issue can be resolved.
