Package: ilisp Version: 5.12.0+cvs.2004.12.26-28 Severity: important -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256
Upstream developement stopped in 2004. The only discussion I could find in the CL / Emacs wikis suggests the package is replaced by slime, which is actively maintained. Unless someone has a compelling argument otherwise, I'd suggest ilisp not be included in buster. I understand the argument of "old software isn't necessarily broken, what does it harm", but in this case it seems that there is some maintenence burden (1 RC packaging bug, 10K line diff from upstream, non-dh-elpa using package). - -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.18.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_CA:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages ilisp depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.69 ii emacsen-common 3.0.4 Versions of packages ilisp recommends: ii ilisp-doc 5.12.0+cvs.2004.12.26-27 Versions of packages ilisp suggests: pn cltl <none> ii emacs 1:25.2+1-11 ii emacs-gtk [emacs] 1:25.2+1-11 ii emacs25 1:25.2+1-11 pn hyperspec <none> - -- debconf information: * ilisp/fsf-compliant: true -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQGzBAEBCAAdFiEE3VS2dnyDRXKVCQCp8gKXHaSnniwFAlvsFqkACgkQ8gKXHaSn nixhfwv+O4631BHTa9VPavUNiDxekVkP8xWpjLDnRafU6SncrK6yKELuznBQq+lG yaxmkk+fp+RfvfiFZmNTEgbF+Pxj4DsOi/Ys5c5dNnPIXrASdrq0ZLQhRTtwfEN8 m1sAYX8plpQKCRJHss0C2ZHMQscj170R/wzeYPevGJEJOoaqsAC7ZnnBFzFc5Z46 To/Yy1HnXrfewbK+BTrPDfgnp37M9lKVb53Cnp1m6Jwgd96RJqlT5vQAJeot+/An HL/aFNrXAq0URfv/oD8hz7MSUIz8LYGJEsE4YJGTQPFx8rTSWplJnfpfUoYJpctS fooYYgiQhEw3alo+Ithxy7oMtMFz/SktKFDL2c1pMIWjUQwMMEgwORUeHOh4PfoJ 6V2/XOh5eqY6AM+OIFGCM+qgUxtsn/B8wfZdMTsBAw8aX+8GuD45UGCfEpXUIi7r 5QBUDyz2CcOW+n/xbE2HRm+2QYAX7GIdVeYkyWPNUAK41ACRbTC1uxbtb2exK2D2 wRAo1BzG =RrJZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
