Hi,
The dpkg-mergechangelogs utility strips vim modelines (etc). I
discovered this in lintian which has a trailing "vim: et" at the end
of the file.
This is, of course, caused by:
} elsif (m/^vim:/io) {
last; # skip Vim modeli
