Package: python-pyocr
Version: 0.3.0-1
Severity: important
Dear Paul,
I intent to take over and salvage python-pyocr according to Debian's
Developer's Reference chapter 5.12.
I wrote you a few mails to ask if you're still interested in maintaining
this package but didn't got any reply.
There is a serious bug (#886306) which hasn't got any reply and since you're
only
maintaining this package and you didn't had anyactivity in the last 3
years, I am also CCing Debian MIA team.
Several new versions have been released upstream and the upstream
repository has changed from github to GNOME's gitlab instance.
This package is one of the dependencies of a package I intent to package
(#721287).
According to the ITS process, I will wait for any objections during 21
days before uploading a new package into the DELAYED queue.
Best regards,
Thomas Perret
