Package: lintian Version: 2.5.118 Severity: minor Hi,
I have seen this more than once now...If a src:package contains more than one shared lib and -dev bin:pkg couple with a debian/libfooX.symbols file, then lintian fails to perform the symbols-file-missing-build-depends-package-field test on all shared libs / .symbols files.
My current example: mate-control-center 1.20.4-1 (upload coming in a minute). Although, both included shared libs' .symbols files have the "* Build-Depends-Package: ...-dev" line, the libmate-window-settings1.symbols file still always gets reported by lintian (false positive).
