I don't think this is accurate either. Most if of not all upstream maintainers 
are actually RedHat employees. This may not be obvious from looking at the 
source code.

Would it be acceptable to state "(C) 2013-2019 github.com/containers/storage 
maintainers"?

If neither that rather vague specification (which is used in packages such as 
docker, cf.

and Linux, cf.

well), nor the authors listed in the AUTHORS file is acceptable, what would you 
recommend me to do?

Thanks for the hint. In fact, I've already started working on a new upstream 
release and have clarified the pkg/mflag license.
