The build was made in my autobuilder with "dpkg-buildpackage -A"
and similar randomness happens here:

If this is really a bug in one of the build-depends, please use reassign and 
affects,
so that this is still visible in the BTS web page for this package.

On the other hand, if this is a bug in the package itself, and a
failure of this test does not really mean that the package is misbuilt
or it's not working properly (i.e. flaky test which may not be trusted),
then I suggest that the test is simply disabled, as in the patch below.
(Warning: the patch is untested).

Note: Normally I don't want to use serious severity for things which
fail randomly with low probability, but the failure rates I get in
this particular case are above 70% and honestly I don't think it would
be fair to say that this package "builds from source". If for whatever
reason you could not reproduce this easily, please contact me
privately and I will gladly offer ssh access to a system where this
happens a lot.
