I'm nut sure about the correct severity, so I'm filing this as important. Feel free to adjust. With knot 2.7.6-1 (currently in unstable) autopkgtest for knot-resolver fails: https://ci.debian.net/data/autopkgtest/testing/amd64/k/knot-resolver/1912888/log.gz The problem is a change in behavior of kdig.
