Things are moving smoothly upstream now, and I am more optimistic. signature.asc Description: PGP signature

Hi Félix, Félix Sipma writes: > Hi Nicholas and others, > > Did you make any progress on this ITP? Of course! :-) I'm still waiting to hear back from the Debian Borg Collective though... IIRC the blocker months ago was either related to the Python 3.8 transition, or to strange errors with QDarkStyle. I haven't filed an ITP for QDarkStyle, because I believe that the behaviour it enables is not what most users expect. https://github.com/borgbase/vorta/issues/471 Best, Nicholas P.S. I suspect this ITP will take a while to resolve, because the upstream is very much in the "release a standalone bundle with everything vendored" camp.. signature.asc Description: PGP signature

Hi Varac, I'll take care of this one since a member of my family now needs this software (likely ETA: less than a week, plus waiting for it to clear NEW) I'd like to put Vorta under Debian Borg Collective maintenance rather than just under Salsa namespace. ACK? Best, Nicholas P.S. Why not the PAPT? Upstream plans to rewrite Vorta in Golang https://github.com/borgbase/vorta/issues/331#issuecomment-513526067 Hi Nicholas and others, Did you make any progress on this ITP? At this time I'm not sure how likely this is or how often it would occur. If you don't want this package on your team then I'll maintain it in the PAPT. Oh, and of course I'm willing to join the Borg Collective! Regards, Nicholas signature.asc Description: PGP signature
