Package: e2tools
Version: 0.0.16-6.1+b2
Severity: wishlist

The original source for e2tools has disappeared (the home.earthlink.net
pages is dead), but it looks like there is activity at:

https://github.com/ndim/e2tools

Hans has modernized the package, fixing the FSF's address in the
copyright notices, updated the autoconf file, fixed various compiler
warnings, added man pages (taken from Debian, in fact), etc.

Also note that e2tools actually *does* work on ext4 file systems
(although e2cp is creating indirect-mapped blocks by default, which is
unfortunate). So the package description should be updated as well.

I'd suggest reaching out to Hans and Keith Sheffield (assuming his
pobox.com e-mail is still working) to make sure they are amenable to
upstream switch.
